Fast & Furious 8 - Official Trailer 1 Review

The first official trailer of "Fast & Furious 8"  has just been came up, and the movie will release on April 14th, 2017. Ok, let's talk about trailer.

This is my review about that 3 minutes trailer.

From the sequel "fast and furious" seven movies before,  maybe, in this fast and furious 8 is not going to offer anything surprising anymore, just hunting

criminals with luxury cars and also a blast ,  great explosion. Sequel fast furious has changed from a wild street car racing  to be less street racing anymore.  now , the movies are dominated by the action of hunting criminals, many  big explosion and advanced technology.

From the trailer looks that there will probably be a lot of talk about "family". It is seen from  3 minutes trailer. There are  good people become evil, and  instead there are evil become good. There will be a scene where Tej Parker (Ludacris) said "oh shit" in walkie talkie. And naturally there will be drama of endless joshing murder. The word family is mentioned four times for three minutes in this trailer. Seen from the voices between "Hooray, we're a family", to "How dare you do this to your family?".Also, just to underline the point, the word appears in text.

Extrapolating from this, given that this film is likely to be two hours or  two and a half hours long, we can expect the film to contain upwards of 150 or more usages of the word family.

Furthermore, the main power of this film (besides we can see cool action of luxury cars) seems to be that Vin Diesel has gone from being the good guy to being the bad guy seduced by the mysterious woman, Cipher (Charlize Theron) and wondering the reasons why he changed. Dom looks turn into evil and cooperate with Cipher (Charlize Theron) and to stop Dom being evil, the "furious" families asking for help to a former enemy, namely Shaw (Jason Statham) by sending Hobbs ("The Rock" Dwayne Johnson) to the prison to persuade him help stoping Dom. But don't forget the Dom's Girl friend,  Letty "Ortiz 'Toretto (Michelle Rodriguez),who was good and then went bad and is now good again although we probably shouldn’t rule out the possibility of her temporarily turning bad to win the trust of Vin Diesel (who is now bad).

However, despite all old player in this movies, the Fast & Furious franchise is still capable of surprising its audience.
